This strain was isolated from eucalyptus in Uganda. Strains belonging to this species have been isolated from eucalyptus leaves showing symptoms of bacterial blight and die-back in Uganda, Uruguay and Argentina and from maize suffering from brown stalk rot in South Africa.We used the genomic sequence of this strain for species identification and comparative genomics studies.

该菌株分离自乌干达境内的桉树。该物种的菌株已分别从乌干达、乌拉圭与阿根廷境内表现出细菌性疫病及枯梢病症状的桉树叶，以及南非感染褐茎腐病的玉米样本中分离得到。本研究使用该菌株的基因组序列开展物种鉴定与比较基因组学相关研究。
