Global cobalt sulfate production share by country 2020

China accounted for around 80 percent of the global production of cobalt sulfate as of 2020, while the rest of this share was distributed among other countries worldwide. Cobalt sulfate is the main refined cobalt product used in the production of lithium-ion batteries.
