Single cell gene expression data for multiple human prostate fibroblast cell lines including primary human prostate fibroblasts from a young adult male before and after immortalization via EF1a-driven hTERT lentiviral construct (pHPF and iHPF), HPV E6/E7-immortalized prostate stromal fibroblasts from a stromal nodule of benign prostatic hyperplasia (N1), and spontaneously immortalized prostate fibroblasts from a solitary fibrous tumor (SFT-1). Sequencing data was used to characterize transcriptomes and to infer transcription factor activity using a novel noisy Boolean logic Bayesian model to investigate fibroblast phenotypic plasticity.
