Nanopore long read sequencing was conducted to complete the genome of Turicibacter sanguinis MOL361. These reads were assembly in unicycler with the original HiSeq reads from bioproject PRJNA500327 to produce a complete genome with two contigs. However, quality control revealed the small second plasmid to be a contaminant. This left one closed, circular chromosome for T. sanguinis MOL361
本研究采用纳米孔长读长测序(Nanopore long read sequencing)技术完成了血Turicibacter MOL361(Turicibacter sanguinis MOL361)的基因组组装工作。将该纳米孔测序所得读段与来自生物项目PRJNA500327的原始HiSeq测序读段(HiSeq reads)一同使用Unicycler软件进行组装,得到包含两个重叠群(contig)的完整基因组。然而,经质量控制(quality control)分析显示,其中较小的第二条质粒(plasmid)为污染物。最终,血Turicibacter MOL361仅保留一条闭合环状染色体(closed circular chromosome)。
