This dataset focuses on analyzing the correlation between the compaction degree of the crushed stone layer and the top surface rebound deflection value, and reveals the strength of the correlation between the two. This dataset can be used by relevant researchers, technical R&D personnel, project supervisors, and engineering quality inspectors in the crushed stone construction field, providing support for their predictive analysis, quality control, scientific research, technical optimization and other related work of crushed stone engineering from the perspectives of the compaction degree of the crushed stone layer and the top surface rebound deflection value. 1. Data Collection: Record the test data of the top surface rebound deflection value of materials under different compaction degrees of the crushed stone layer, including fields such as test point number, test time, compaction degree of the crushed stone layer (unit: %), and top surface rebound deflection value (unit: mm). 2. Data Preprocessing: (1) Denoise the collected data to ensure data accuracy. (2) Aggregate the historically collected data (including this batch of collected data) to form dataset X, and calculate the average value of the top surface rebound deflection value field in dataset X. 3. Correlation Coefficient Calculation: (1) Based on dataset X (with the compaction degree of the crushed stone layer as the independent variable and the top surface rebound deflection value as the dependent variable), use the CORREL function to calculate the correlation coefficient r between the compaction degree of the crushed stone layer and the top surface rebound deflection value. (2) The value range of the correlation coefficient r is [-1, 1]. The closer its absolute value is to 1, the stronger the correlation between the two variables; the closer its absolute value is to 0, the weaker the correlation between the two variables. 4. Result Application: If |r| ≥ 0.8, it is judged as "strong correlation"; if 0.5 ≤ |r| < 0.8, it is judged as "moderate correlation"; if |r| < 0.5, it is judged as "weak correlation".
