IMOS SOOP Sea Surface Temperature data collected on the Merchant Vessel Iron Yandi

This dataset contains Sea Surface Temperature (SST) underway observations collected on trips of a merchant vessel Iron Yandi (callsign VNVR).\n\nBulk SST is measured by SBE48 hull contact sensor. The sensor is installed in the engine compartment and its depth is varied from 1 to 10 meters (depending on loading of vessel). SST data (along with meteorological data from ship AWS) are instantaneous, collected every 1 hour.\n\nThe data are quality controlled by the Bureau of Meteorology. The daily data files are available from eMII shortly after 0000 UTC.

本数据集包含商船Iron Yandi号（呼号VNVR）航行期间采集的海表温度（Sea Surface Temperature, SST）实时观测数据。

批量海表温度由SBE48船体接触式传感器测量。该传感器安装于机舱内，其深度范围为1至10米（取决于船舶载重）。海表温度数据（以及来自船舶自动气象站（AWS）的气象数据）为瞬时值，每小时采集一次。

数据由气象局进行质量控制。每日数据文件在协调世界时00:00后不久可从eMII获取。
