A de novo 8.7kb Deletion in MITF Explains a Novel Splashed White Phenotype in a family of American Paint Horses

To identify sequencing variant(s) causing a novel splashed white phenotype in an American Paint Horse stallion, we performed whole genome sequencing of at least 30X coverage on the Nova-Seq platform.
