Realistic Australian Medium Voltage Feeder with Associated Low Voltage Feeders

This is a realistic data set based on a real-world power distributed network. Though the data set is constructed carefully, and sanity tests have been performed for both the topology and the impedance values in the data set, there was no further validation performed as part of this work. The data represents a single medium voltage feeder and 33 associated low voltage feeders in OpenDSS format.

The medium voltage feeder data originates from suburban part of Australia. It is an 11 kV feeder with a variety of residential LV feeders underneath, with an operational voltage of 400/230 V +/-10%.

An OpenDSS model containing this data has been constructed. To make the data realistic for the Australian context, we have also made a number of additions to the data set based on engineering rules of thumb and best practice.

The data were obtained and cleaned in order to support a research project in 2025 on the calculation of dynamic operating envelopes.

本数据集基于真实世界的配电网络构建，具备高度写实性。尽管本数据集经过严谨搭建，并已针对其中的拓扑结构与阻抗值完成合理性校验（sanity tests），但本研究未对其开展进一步验证工作。该数据集以OpenDSS格式存储，包含1条中压馈线（medium voltage feeder）及与之关联的33条低压馈线（low voltage feeders）。

该中压馈线的原始数据取自澳大利亚郊区，为一条11 kV馈线，下方搭载各类住宅低压（LV）馈线，运行电压为400/230 V ±10%。

已构建包含该数据集的OpenDSS模型。为使数据集贴合澳大利亚本地场景，本研究还依据工程经验法则与行业最佳实践，对数据集进行了多项补充。

本数据集的获取与清洗工作，旨在支撑2025年一项关于动态运行包络（dynamic operating envelopes）计算的研究项目。
