L2 Section, Sample 50. 88 Year Old Female

A 3 mm thick para-sagittal slice of L2 vertebra from an 88 year old female embedded in PMMA then micro-milled block surfaces carbon coated for quantitative 20kV BSE SEM.<br><br>Later polished to remove coating and then imaged with high-contrast X-Ray Micro-tomography at 90 kV with 30 micron voxel size.<br>There is also a 3D VR model availablehttps://skfb.ly/6QVUw<br>

本数据集包含一名88岁女性的第2腰椎椎体（L2 vertebra）的3mm厚旁矢状面切片。该样本经聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯（PMMA）包埋后，先对其块体表面进行微铣削处理，随后施加碳涂层，以开展20kV定量背散射电子扫描显微镜（BSE SEM）成像。
随后对该样本进行抛光以去除涂层，并采用90kV、体素尺寸为30微米的高对比度X射线显微计算机断层扫描（X-Ray Micro-tomography）进行成像。
