试论江苏省人口变化对教育发展的影响

文章通过对江苏省1988年以来出生人口数量的变化及2010年前出生人口的预测分析,探讨了人口变化对江苏未来基础教育及高等教育的影响,提出应按照科学发展观的要求,积极协调人口与教育资源的关系,巩固基础教育,调整高中及大学招生的比例及相关政策,做好迎接江苏高等教育大众化向高等教育普及化转变的准备。

By analyzing the changes in the number of births in Jiangsu Province since 1988 and the projections of births before 2010, this paper examines the impacts of population changes on Jiangsu's future basic education and higher education. It proposes that, in accordance with the requirements of the Scientific Outlook on Development, we should actively coordinate the relationship between population and educational resources, consolidate basic education, adjust the enrollment ratios of high schools and universities as well as relevant policies, and prepare for the transition from mass higher education to universal higher education in Jiangsu Province.
