Fire weather index - June maxima (1970 - 2014)

Fire weather index (FWI) is an indicator of fire potential used in the Canadian Forest Fire Weather Index System (Van Wagner, 1987). It is calculated daily from weather measurements at the stations. Presented data include values of the June maxima of the FWI obtained at 13 stations (columns) in British Columbia from 1970 until 2014 (rows).

The data were kindly provided by Steve Taylor, Pacific Forestry Centre, Canadian Forest Service. The data origin is BC Wildfire Service, Ministry of Lands, Forests, and Natural Resource Operations.

森林火险天气指数（Fire Weather Index, FWI）是加拿大森林火险天气指数系统（Van Wagner, 1987）中用于表征火险潜力的指标，该指数每日通过站点气象观测数据计算得到。本次发布的数据涵盖1970年至2014年间，不列颠哥伦比亚省境内13个观测站点（以列维度表示）的6月FWI最大值，其中行维度对应各统计年份。
