Analysis of LCM samples isolated from the inner (subgranular zone-side, neurogenic site) and outer (molecular zone-side) granule cell layer of either young adult or senile dentate gyrus. Results provide insight into the molecular signatures of young and old granule cells. Overall design: Gene expression was analyzed in the laser captute miccrodissected (LCM) samples isolated from the inner (subgranular zone-side) and outer (molecular zone-side) granule cell layer of the dorsal dentate gyrus at the age of either 3-month-old (young adult) or 20-24-month-old (senile). Each sample was pooled from 8 independent female mice .

本研究对取自年轻成年或衰老齿状回的内(颗粒下区侧,即神经发生位点)、外(分子层侧)颗粒细胞层的激光捕获显微切割(Laser Capture Microdissection, LCM)样本开展分析。研究结果可揭示年轻与衰老颗粒细胞的分子特征。实验设计:本研究对取自3月龄(年轻成年)或20~24月龄(衰老)背侧齿状回的内(颗粒下区侧)、外(分子层侧)颗粒细胞层的LCM样本进行基因表达分析。所有样本均由8只独立雌性小鼠的组织混合制备而成。
