Density and habitat use of a reintroduced population of the Red-billed Curassow (Crax blumenbachii), an endangered species of the Brazilian Atlantic forest

The data set includes focal species and other cracids cluster encounters and perpendicular distances (animal-transect), number of males and females of the focal species, and occurrence of the focal species and occupancy covariates. Data were collected using the distance sampling protocol across parallel line transects distributed in potential habitat areas of the Red-billed Currassows.
