本数据集包含2008年黑河上游祁连县阿柔乡(具有高海拔和复杂地形特征)的车载双偏振多普勒雷达观测数据。观测内容是250m×250m水平网格上每10分钟的双线偏振多普勒雷达高质量连续估测数据。观测地点:青海省祁连县阿柔乡(39.06°N,100.44°E,3002m),观测时间从2008年3月14日开始到2008年4月14日结束。 观测试验的目的是利用同时进行的降水粒子滴谱仪观测和地面降水加密观测来探索在高寒区利用雷达联合观测并反演地面降水类型和强度的方法,建立系统化和连续的雷达观测数据集。具体双偏振多普勒天气雷达的性能指标参加数据中的说明文档。 双偏振多普勒雷达性能指标:径向分辨率150m,方位分辨率1,体扫10~22层,扫描周期10分钟。可同时获得ZH,ZDR,KDP等偏振信息量。

This dataset contains vehicle-mounted dual-polarization Doppler radar observation data collected in Arou Township, Qilian County, upper reaches of the Heihe River in 2008. The study area is characterized by high altitude and complex terrain. The observations consist of high-quality continuous estimated data from the dual-polarization Doppler radar, sampled on a 250 m × 250 m horizontal grid every 10 minutes. The observation site is located in Arou Township, Qilian County, Qinghai Province (39.06°N, 100.44°E, 3002 m above sea level), with the observation period spanning from March 14, 2008 to April 14, 2008. The purpose of this observation experiment is to explore methods for retrieving ground precipitation type and intensity via combined radar observations in alpine cold regions, by utilizing simultaneous measurements from precipitation particle disdrometers and dense ground-based precipitation observations, and to establish a systematic and continuous radar observation dataset. Specific performance indicators of the dual-polarization Doppler weather radar are provided in the accompanying documentation of the dataset. Performance parameters of the radar include: radial resolution of 150 m, azimuth resolution of 1, volume scan layers ranging from 10 to 22, and scan cycle of 10 minutes. It can simultaneously collect polarimetric variables such as ZH, ZDR, KDP and other relevant polarization-related data.
