Passive acoustic data stretching from a year before to a year after the relocation of a major shipping lane in Kattegat (2020-07-01). 15 stations were distributed in four transects (NW, SW, NE, SE) near (1–5) the original or relocated shipping lane. Data was collected with a C-POD and processed in CPOD.exe with the KERNO filter at an 8 cycle threshold (www.chelonia.co.uk). Detection minutes and train details was exported and compiled into minute time series with detection and buzz (train minimum inter-click interval <10) positive minutes. The files consists of time series data at 1 minute resolution. First column TIMESTAMP (yyyy-mm-dd HH:MM) and three Boolean (0/1) columns for: if the instrument was on or not (ON); if the minute was detection positive (DPM); if the minute was buzz positive (BPM). The file header also includes station name, position, approximate depth and data coverage. All data gaps are filled with the missing TIMESTAMP and instrument not (0) ON. This data is used in the study “No change in overall presence and habitat use of harbour porpoises (Phocoena phocoena) by rerouting of a major shipping lane in Kattegat (Baltic Sea)”. For more information please see the published work. Stations in Danish waters was managed by the Section for Marine Mammal Research, Department of Ecoscience, Aarhus University. Stations in Swedish waters was managed by Department of Environmental Research and Monitoring, Swedish Museum of Natural History. Data processing was done by the museum.
