Transcriptomes of Trichoniscus pusillus and Hyloniscus riparius. Trichoniscus pusillus and Hyloniscus riparius

Transcriptome sequencing and assembly of the terrestrial isopods Trichoniscus pusillus and Hyloniscus riparius. This population of Trichoniscus pusillus is a triploid parthenogenic population, while Hyloniscus riparius is diploid and reproduces sexually. The transcriptome data will be used to examine patterns of molecular evolution within and between species to test hypotheses about the evolutionary tradeoffs between sexual and asexual reproduction.
