The FLIMFLAM Survey is a spectroscopic survey that targets at foreground galaxies of 10 localized Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs) with z<0.4. Each FRB field has a folder, which includes a CSV database file containing galaxies within 1 degree from the FRB and a folder of selection function. These galaxies are collected from the public available image surveys catalogs which are described in Table 2 of the FLIMFLAM DR1 paper. The selection function folder contains a HDF5 file of angular selection function and a TXT file of radial selection function. The description of the columns in the database, angular selection function and radial selection function files are as follows:

[ImageSurvey]: The Image Survey where the photometry data is collected. [ImageSurvey] = SDSS, 6dF, 2MASS, DES, Pan-STARRS or DECam (DECam actually refer to DELVE, but since it uses DECam photometric bands, we use the camera name instead of the survey name)

Angular Selection Function (ASF) is the completeness of a given spectroscopic survey as a function of the spherical coordinates RA & Dec. The ASF is computed separately for every spectroscopic survey, which data is used in a given FRB field.

The ASF and RSF only calculated for FRB fields used for baryon distribution analysis, hence are not calculated for 20190520B and 20210117A.

FLIMFLAM巡天(FLIMFLAM Survey)是一项光谱巡天项目,其观测目标为10个红移z<0.4的局域快速射电暴(Fast Radio Burst, FRB)前景星系。每个FRB天区对应一个独立文件夹,该文件夹包含两类内容:一是收录FRB天区1度范围内星系的CSV格式数据库文件,二是选择函数文件夹。
这些星系源自公开可用的图像巡天星表,相关说明详见FLIMFLAM DR1论文的表2。选择函数文件夹内包含两个文件:分别为存储角选择函数的HDF5文件,以及存储径向选择函数的TXT文件。

- `[ImageSurvey]`:测光数据所在的图像巡天,取值可为SDSS、6dF、2MASS、DES、Pan-STARRS或DECam(注:DECam实际指代DELVE巡天,但因采用DECam测光波段,故以相机名称替代巡天名称)。
- `[Band]`:星等(或其误差)对应的波段。
- `[NARROW-8m]`:本天区使用的窄带8米望远镜摄谱仪,取值可为DEIMOS、GMOS或LRIS。
### 角选择函数(Angular Selection Function, ASF)

其中`[N]`取值范围为`[0, 1, …, 8]`,`[xxx]`为FRB名称,`[SurveyName]`取值为`['SDSS', '6dF', 'FF']`。
#### 表项说明
角选择函数(ASF)指给定光谱巡天的完备率随球坐标赤经与赤纬的变化函数,针对每个用于特定FRB天区光谱观测的巡天分别计算ASF。

注:ASF与径向选择函数(Radial Selection Function, RSF)仅针对用于重子分布分析的FRB天区计算,因此未针对20190520B与20210117A两个FRB计算。
