The Respiratory and Drug Actuation (RDA) Suite, developed by the University of Patras, Greece, is a comprehensive set of tools designed for audio processing, feature extraction, and classification procedures related to asthma medication adherence. The accompanying dataset, RDA, contains 370 audio recordings of respiratory and drug actuation sounds, captured under controlled acoustic conditions. These recordings, sourced from three subjects familiar with inhaler techniques, are used for benchmarking and further research in assessing inhalation techniques and medication adherence. The dataset is instrumental in developing and evaluating classification models based on machine learning and deep learning architectures, aiming to provide objective methods for assessing inhalation techniques during clinical consultations.
