This dataset supports research on treating burns and scalds with synthetic biology-engineered bacteria. By modifying Escherichia coli Nissle 1917, we constructed an engineered strain EcN-BA1 capable of efficiently producing butyrate. The dataset includes the following content: 1. Construction of the engineered strain: data on gene editing and in vitro butyrate production; 2. Safety assessment: data on antibiotic susceptibility, intestinal colonization, and in vivo clearance rate.
