Dataset for: Volatilomic complexity of three Northern Greenland bacterial isolates across a salt gradient

This folder contains MVOC concentration data produced and analysed in the study “Volatilomic complexity of three Northern Greenland bacterial isolates across a salt gradient” by Salinas-García et al (2025), published in FEMS Microbiology Ecology.
Four .csv files are included:
• GCMS_Net.csv
• GCMS_Raw.csv
• PTR_Net.csv
• PTR_Raw.csv
Each file contains either GC-MS or PTR data, as the filename describes. Net data refers to values after control subtraction. Raw data is the data before control subtraction, and includes control concentrations as well. Please note that there are two different controls in the PTR data, “Control” and “Ncontrol”. Because we could only measure 9 samples at a time with our setup (3 bacteria A + 3 bacteria B + 3 controls), we ran the experiment with Oceanobacillus and Arthrobacter together and Nesterenkonia in a different run. Ncontrol are the controls from the run with Nesterenkonia.

本文件夹收录了Salinas-García等人2025年发表于《FEMS微生物生态学》（FEMS Microbiology Ecology）的研究《盐梯度下格陵兰北部3株细菌分离株的挥发组复杂性》中生成并分析的甲基挥发性有机化合物（MVOC）浓度数据。
本次数据集包含4个CSV格式文件，分别为：

• PTR_Net.csv
• PTR_Raw.csv

每个文件均对应文件名标注的气相色谱-质谱联用（GC-MS）或质子转移反应（PTR）检测数据。其中"Net"数据指经对照扣除后的标准化数值，"Raw"数据为对照扣除前的原始检测数据，同时包含对照组的浓度信息。

请注意，PTR数据集中共包含两类对照样本："Control"与"Ncontrol"。由于本次实验装置单次仅可完成9份样本的检测（3株A菌+3株B菌+3份对照），因此实验分为两个批次开展：第一批同步开展海芽孢杆菌属（Oceanobacillus）与节杆菌属（Arthrobacter）的实验，第二批则单独开展涅斯捷连科氏菌属（Nesterenkonia）的实验。其中"Ncontrol"即为第二批涅斯捷连科氏菌属实验对应的对照样本。
