STRUCTURE OF APOLIPOPROTEIN B100 BOUND TO LOW-DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN RECEPTOR (Linear IDs)

Apolipoprotein B100 (apoB100) is the main structural protein on Low-density Lipoproteins (LDL) and is the principal ligand for the LDL receptor (LDLR). Because the tertiary structure of apoB100 on LDL has not been determined, the detailed molecular interaction between apoB100 and LDLR is unknown. Here we present the structures of LDL bound to the LDLR and an apoB100 nanobody complex at 4.18Å resolution and a second LDL-LDLR interface at 4.83Å resolution.

载脂蛋白B100（apoB100）是低密度脂蛋白（LDL）表面的主要结构蛋白，同时也是低密度脂蛋白受体（LDLR）的主要配体。由于LDL表面的apoB100三级结构尚未被解析，apoB100与LDLR之间的详细分子相互作用机制仍不明确。本研究报道了结合有LDLR与apoB100纳米抗体复合物的LDL结构，分辨率达4.18埃，同时还解析了另一组LDL-LDLR结合界面的结构，分辨率为4.83埃。
