Arabidopsis ppi2 plants have a T-DNA insertion in atToc159 and thus display a severe defect in protein import into chloroplasts. These mutants have an albino phenotype and also are seedling lethal. We used microarrays to detail the induced genes in ppi2 plants compard to wild type plants. Arabidopsis plants, wild-type and ppi2 plants, were grown for 10 or 20 days, respectively, and total RNA was used for analysis.
拟南芥(Arabidopsis)ppi2突变体在atToc159位点存在T-DNA插入,其叶绿体蛋白导入过程存在严重缺陷。该突变体呈现白化表型,且为幼苗致死型。我们通过基因芯片(microarrays)详细分析了ppi2突变体相较于野生型植株的诱导表达基因差异。实验中将野生型与ppi2拟南芥植株分别培养10天和20天,提取总RNA用于后续分析。
