This collection comprises a report, survey and interpreted data from a geophysical survey undertaken by SUMO Geosurveys on land north of Nadder Lane, South Molton, Devon in July 2022. The magnetometer survey has not recorded any magnetic responses that could be interpreted as being of definite archaeological interest. Numerous dich-like anomalies, linear trends and bands of increased magnetic response have been detected in the survey and assigned to the category of uncertain. They are likely to be due to a combination of natural and agricultural processes; however, archaeological origins for some of the responses cannot be entirely dismissed. One corroborated former field boundary has been recorded in Area 5 and a number of conjectural former field boundaries have also been plotted. Ridge and furrow ploughing is visible in the magnetic data along with a service pipe. A zone of magnetic disturbance is likely to be due to spreads of debris / made ground associated with modern agricultural processes.
