Streptococcus uberis whole genome sequencing

Identify sequences of S. uberis that contribute to colonisation of the bovine mammary gland. Determine phenotypes for field isolates of S. uberis and cross reference to allelic variation. Develop S. uberis sequence typing schemes. Benefit is accrued via establishment and dissemination of accessible new technologies and data.
