Adults: Monetary penalties and fines according to amounts in CHF

This dataset presents the daily amounts of monetary penalties and fine amounts (imposed as a primary penalty or combined with other penalties) according to the criminal authority (cantonal, federal, or military jurisdiction) and the type of sanction (including the method of enforcement). This dataset notably provides statistics on the daily penalty units of monetary penalties (median, minimum, and maximum daily amounts), statistics on the amounts of fines (median, minimum, and maximum amounts), as well as the total sums of all monetary penalties and fines to be paid, by year of conviction, since 2007.
