Metagenome-assembled genomes from the Benguela Upwelling System

This datasets contains 254 metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) extracted from 4 metagenomic sequencing data sets from sediment (1), bottom water (1) and water column (2) samples of the Benguela Uwelling System collected during Meteor cruise M157 in 2019 within the framework of the EVAR Project (The Benguela Upwelling System under climate change: Effects of variability in physical forcing on carbon and oxygen budgets). Files are provided for the genome sequence, predicted proteins and their annotation. Additional metadata is available under the accession number of the raw sequencing reads (PRJEB63098).
