G-MANAGE represents a community of ecologists, geneticists, technicians, and forest managers proposing to co-construct best practices for the conservation and sustainable use of tropical timber species based on eco-evolutionary information from novel genomic approaches. We will use available genome resequencing and generate high-throughput genotyping data of the heavily exploited timber tree Angélique (Dicorynia guianensis) to characterise its genetic adaptive variation, specially to drought, and its recruitment patterns across French Guiana.
