pilot project for the co-creation of genomics-informed best management practices for timber conservation and extraction under global change in French Guiana. G-MANAGE

G-MANAGE represents a community of ecologists, geneticists, technicians, and forest managers proposing to co-construct best practices for the conservation and sustainable use of tropical timber species based on eco-evolutionary information from novel genomic approaches. We will use available genome resequencing and generate high-throughput genotyping data of the heavily exploited timber tree Angélique (Dicorynia guianensis) to characterise its genetic adaptive variation, specially to drought, and its recruitment patterns across French Guiana.

G-MANAGE是一个由生态学家、遗传学家、技术人员与森林管理者组成的学术共同体，旨在依托新兴基因组学方法所获取的生态进化信息，协同构建热带木材物种保护与可持续利用的最佳实践方案。本项目将利用现有基因组重测序（genome resequencing）数据，并针对被高强度开发的用材树种安杰利克（Angélique，*Dicorynia guianensis*）生成高通量基因分型（high-throughput genotyping）数据，以解析其遗传适应性变异（尤其是针对干旱胁迫的适应性变异），以及其在法属圭亚那全境的种群更新模式。
