ITS2 metagenomic analysis of healthy and thickened Opuntia ficus-indica plants

Opuntia ficus-indica plants with and without thickening symptoms were analyzed. Soil, rhizosphere, root endosphere, calodode endosphere and cladode phyllosphere samples were collected under two climatic conditions, during the rainy and the dry seasons. Total DNA was obtained from all samples and the ITS2 region was sequenced.

本研究针对表现与未表现增厚症状的梨果仙人掌（Opuntia ficus-indica）植株展开分析。在雨季与旱季两种气候条件下，采集了土壤、根际、根内生区、叶状茎内生区以及叶状茎叶围样本。提取所有样本的总DNA，并对ITS2区域进行测序。
