Introduction
The COVID-19 pandemic has amazed mankind with no effective diagnostic or therapeutic alternatives. A swift spread, contagiousness, and the requirements for the attention of severe cases have overwhelmed the capacity of health care services. This revision aimed to establish available alternatives for the treatment of patients with COVID-19.
Methodology
Documental research of the scientific evidence in the specialized literature was performed using terms leading to articles related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Through the applications of filters, the refinement of documents helped to refine the search for the best available quality studies. Selected articles were reviewed by the working group and the results will be exposed in a narrative way for the guidance of clinicians who treat patients to expose the main findings.
Results
We are expecting to find the main documents with the most relevant articles and the best possible methodology.
