The polyamine biosynthesis gene, speE, in Streptococcus pneumoniae TIGR4 is necessary for survival in murine models of pneumococcal pneumonia. To date, there is no description of polyamine biosynthesis dependent pneumococcal gene expression. In this study, we compared gene expression between the wild-type and biosynthesis deficient (ΔspeE) TIGR4 by RNA-Seq analysis.
肺炎链球菌(Streptococcus pneumoniae) TIGR4菌株中的多胺生物合成基因speE,在肺炎球菌肺炎的小鼠感染模型中为菌体存活所必需。截至目前,尚无关于依赖多胺生物合成途径的肺炎链球菌基因表达的相关报道。本研究通过RNA测序(RNA-Seq)分析,对比了野生型菌株与多胺生物合成缺陷型(ΔspeE) TIGR4的基因表达差异。
