genome sequencing of rare serovars salmonella strains in healthy individual

This project identifies five rare Salmonella serotypes in China for the first time and uncovers their hidden spread among healthy individuals through whole genome sequencing. Additionally, antibiotic resistance genes and virulence genes were discovered.

本研究首次在中国境内鉴定出5种罕见的沙门氏菌血清型，并通过全基因组测序（whole genome sequencing）揭示了它们在健康人群中的隐性传播，同时还发现了该类菌株的抗生素耐药基因与毒力基因。
