Prevalence and severity of allergic diseases have increased worldwide. To date, respiratory allergy phenotypes are not fully characterized and, in addition, the mechanisms underlying sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) are still unknown. We have used microarrays to understand the underlying mechanisms of SLIT using samples of patients under grass pollen SLIT at different timepoints (T0-before SLIT and T2-two years of treatment, Active or Placebo). We also have taken into account the sensitization of the subjects (Monosensitized patients and Polisensitiez patients) Our aim was to identify the underlying mechanisms and possible biomarkers associated to grass pollen SLIT response using microarrays.

过敏性疾病的患病率与严重程度在全球范围内均呈上升态势。迄今为止,呼吸道过敏表型尚未得到充分表征,且舌下免疫治疗(sublingual immunotherapy, SLIT)的潜在作用机制仍未阐明。本研究采用基因芯片(microarrays)技术,以接受草花粉舌下免疫治疗的患者不同时间点样本为研究对象:T0为治疗前基线,T2为接受两年治疗后,受试者分为活性治疗组与安慰剂组。本研究同时纳入了受试者的致敏状态分层,即单致敏患者与多致敏患者。本研究旨在通过基因芯片分析,明确与草花粉舌下免疫治疗应答相关的潜在作用机制及潜在生物标志物。
