Estimated composition of taxes in gross tax revenue in India FY 2023

For the financial year 2023, GST or the goods and services tax is estimated to constitute 28 percent of the gross tax revenue. Customs account for eight percent of the gross tax revenue, the lowest in comparison to other types of taxes.
