Mozambique AGYW Contraception and PrEP KAP Survey

This study explored the knowledge, attitudes, and perceptions of contraception, HIV, and PrEP of adolescent girls and young women (AGYW, aged 15-24) in Mozambique. Between May-June 2022, a cross-sectional survey was done among a convenience sample of AGYW receiving healthcare in Nampula, Mozambique. Information on demographics, sexual behavior, contraception knowledge, HIV testing experience, HIV knowledge, PrEP knowledge and attitudes, PrEP stigma, and PrEP modality preference and service delivery was collected.

本研究针对莫桑比克境内15至24岁的青春期少女与年轻女性（adolescent girls and young women，AGYW），就避孕、人类免疫缺陷病毒（Human Immunodeficiency Virus，HIV）及暴露前预防（Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis，PrEP）的认知、态度与感知展开了调研。2022年5月至6月间，研究团队在莫桑比克楠普拉地区，针对就诊的AGYW便利样本开展了一项横断面调查。本次调查收集了研究对象的人口统计学特征、性行为情况、避孕相关知识、HIV检测经历、HIV相关认知、PrEP认知与态度、PrEP污名感知、PrEP剂型偏好及服务提供模式等相关信息。
