Phylogenomics of tinamous. Crypturellus obsoletus castaneus

Tinamous are an ancient group of ground-dwelling birds distributed throughout the Neotropics. This project leverages whole genome sequencing reads to reconstruct a species-level phylogenetic tree for these birds based on thousands of ortholog gene sequences.

共鸟（Tinamous）是一类古老的地栖鸟类，广泛分布于新热带界。本研究采用全基因组测序读段（whole genome sequencing reads），基于数千条直系同源基因序列（ortholog gene sequences），为该类鸟类重建物种水平的系统发育树。
