Dataset of Photothermal Reshaping and Cavity Formation in Silica-Coated Gold Nanorods Using Nanosecond Pulsed Lasers

This dataset supports the article “Photothermal Reshaping and Cavity Formation in Silica-Coated Gold Nanorods Using Nanosecond Pulsed Lasers.” It contains raw and processed data demonstrating fluence-controlled photothermal reshaping of CTAB-stabilized Au nanorods and silica-coated Au nanorods (AuNR@SiO₂) under 7 ns, 850 nm pulsed laser irradiation. Included are: (i) UV–vis–NIR extinction spectra for AuNR@CTAB and AuNR@SiO₂ before irradiation and after defined exposure times and fluences (typically 2–20 mJ cm⁻²; up to 5–10 min), with extracted LSPR/TSPR peak positions and FWHM values; (ii) representative TEM and STEM micrographs of particles pre- and post-irradiation; (iii) morphology measurements from analysis of >100 particles per condition (core length, diameter, aspect ratio, end-cap factor, silica shell thickness) and associated distributions; (iv) outputs from unsupervised clustering of post-irradiation core morphologies; and (v) 4D-STEM diffraction/orientation maps evidencing melt–recrystallization and monocrystalline-to-polycrystalline transitions within the silica shell. Where applicable, associated analysis scripts and simulation input/output files used to generate extinction/thermal models are provided. These data enable reproduction of all figures and quantitative trends in the manuscript and can be reused to benchmark laser-induced reshaping models for plasmonic core–shell nanostructures.
本数据集用于支撑论文《使用纳秒脉冲激光实现二氧化硅包覆金纳米棒的光热整形与空腔形成》。本数据集包含原始与处理后数据,展示了在7纳秒、850纳米脉冲激光辐照下,经十六烷基三甲基溴化铵(CTAB)稳定的金纳米棒以及二氧化硅包覆金纳米棒(AuNR@SiO₂)的注量可控光热整形过程。数据集包含以下内容:(i) 辐照前以及经指定辐照时长与注量(通常为2–20 mJ·cm⁻²,最长辐照时长5–10 min)后,AuNR@CTAB与AuNR@SiO₂的紫外-可见-近红外(UV–vis–NIR)消光光谱,以及从中提取的局域表面等离子体共振(Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance, LSPR)/横向表面等离子体共振(Transverse Surface Plasmon Resonance, TSPR)峰位与半高全宽(Full Width at Half Maximum, FWHM)数值;(ii) 辐照前后颗粒的代表性透射电子显微镜(Transmission Electron Microscopy, TEM)与扫描透射电子显微镜(Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy, STEM)显微图像;(iii) 每组实验条件下对100颗以上颗粒进行形貌分析得到的测量结果(包括核长度、直径、长径比、端帽因子、二氧化硅壳层厚度)及其对应分布;(iv) 辐照后核形貌的无监督聚类分析结果;(v) 用于证明二氧化硅壳层内发生熔融-再结晶以及单晶向多晶转变的四维扫描透射电子显微镜(4D-STEM)衍射/取向图谱。若适用,本数据集还提供了用于构建消光/热学模型的配套分析脚本与模拟输入/输出文件。本数据集可复现论文中所有图表与定量趋势,同时可被复用为等离子体核壳纳米结构激光诱导整形模型的基准测试数据集。
