Inhibitory effect of methanol on the growth of the Rhodotorula strain TO2

Methanol is a by-product of crude glycerol. It has adverse impact on the growth of R. toruloides and it is unfavorable for biolipid production. This project is to compare the changes in the transcriptome profile of the strain TO2 that is cultivated in the medium containing 1.75% v/v of methanol with that without the addition of methanol.

甲醇是粗甘油的副产物，其对胶粘红酵母（Rhodotorula toruloides，缩写R. toruloides）的生长具有不利影响，且不利于生物脂质的生产。本研究旨在对比菌株TO2分别在含1.75%体积分数甲醇的培养基与无甲醇添加的培养基中培养时，其转录组图谱的变化情况。
