Agave lechuguilla de novo transcriptome

The Agave lechuguilla de novo transcriptome, including entire leaves and by-product sequences, is used as a predictive tool for metabolites profiling. The main goal of the work is to describe the synthetic pathways of highly valuable bioactive compounds produced in the Agave lechuguilla by-product. Based on the prediction of phytochemical content, the A. lechuguilla by-product will be promote as a source of natural products, instead of an environmental problematic waste.
