Whole-genome bisulfite sequencing of five months old and three years old grass carp

The grass carp showed age-dependent susceptibility to GCRV. Five months old grass carp was sensitive to GCRV while three years old grass carp was resistant to the virus. However, the mechanism of this phenomenon was unclear. Therefore, we performed Whole-genome bisulfite sequencing of five months old and three years old grass carp aim to uncover the mechanism underlying this phenomenon.

草鱼对草鱼呼肠孤病毒（GCRV）的易感性呈现年龄依赖性特征。其中5月龄草鱼对GCRV易感，而3龄草鱼则对该病毒具有抵抗力。然而，该现象背后的分子机制尚未明确。为此，我们对5月龄与3龄草鱼开展全基因组亚硫酸氢盐测序（Whole-genome bisulfite sequencing），以期揭示该现象的潜在机制。
