Deep-sea surface sediments collected during the Octopus Odyssey expedition were incubated with different concentrations of dissolved Cd for 96 hours and preserved before DNA extraction. Amplicon sequencing (16S rRNA gene) was performed with Illumina paired-end MiSeq (2x250bp) on extracted DNA.

“章鱼奥德赛”(Octopus Odyssey)科考航次采集的深海表层沉积物,经不同浓度的溶解态镉(Cd)孵育96小时后,于DNA提取前完成样本保存。针对提取获得的DNA,采用Illumina双端MiSeq(2×250bp)测序平台,针对16S核糖体RNA基因(16S rRNA gene)开展扩增子测序(Amplicon sequencing)。
