Tab: 1: List of identified insect species in Lena Delta

It was the first time that insects were sampled in the Late Holocene deposits of the Lena Delta. The insect fauna consists of taiga, aguatic and riparian, meadow, shrub, tundra and others species. There are many thermophilie species in different ecological groups of insects. Our findings suggest that about 3000 yr BP predominantly taiga or forest tundra with some steppe elements existed in eloser distance to the Lena Delta head in contrast to today. The climate was warmer than it is now and relative1y dry in this region.

本研究首次在勒拿河三角洲（Lena Delta）的全新世晚期（Late Holocene）沉积层中开展昆虫采样工作。该区域的昆虫区系涵盖泰加林（taiga）物种、水生（aquatic）与河岸生境类群、草甸类群、灌丛类群、苔原（tundra）类群及其他类群昆虫。不同昆虫生态类群中均存在大量嗜热（thermophilic）物种。研究结果表明，约3000年前，相较于现今，勒拿河三角洲近岸区域以泰加林或森林苔原为主，且夹杂少量草原类群成分；该区域当时的气候较现今更为温暖，且相对干燥。
