The goal of the study is to identify differentially expressed isoforms in response to SRSF1 knockdown and/or ionizing radiation in HEK293T cells Overall design: There are four conditions: siSRSF1 + 10 Gy ionizing radiation (IR), siControl + 10 Gy IR, siSRSF1 + 0 Gy IR, siControl + 0 Gy IR. siSRSF1 means SRSF1 was knocked down using an siRNA oligo targeting all known isoforms of SRSF1. siControl means the cells were transfected with a pool of non-targeting oligos as control. 10 Gy means cells were exposed to 10 Gy of IR, while 0 Gy are mock-trated samples. There are five biological replicates of each condition. The samples were collected 48 hours after IR or mock IR.
