As Asians are underrepresented across many omics databases limiting the potential of precision medicine of the global population. It is thus important for multi-omics derived quantitative trait loci (QTLs) to fill the knowledge gap of complex traits in the Asian ancestry. Integrating omics data from genomics and epigenomics (including DNA methylation and RNA-seq from blood), we developed iMOMdb, an open-acesss database to enhance disease prediction models and precision medicine outcomes in Asian pregnant women. Overall design: GUSTO (Growing Up In Singapore Towards healthy Outcome) is a prospective pregnancy and birth cohort study with follow up from prenatal stage through infancy up to 10 years of age. Whole transcriptome was used to explore gene expression changes in maternal whole blood during mid pregnancy (26 -28 weeks of gestation) on 238 mothers of Chinese, Malay and Indian ethnicities. RNA-seq was profiled on maternal whole blood samples using Illumina hiSeq 4000 platform. These data are reported in separate series.
