Skeletal muscle gene expression changes one year following Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) surgery

We used gene expression microarray to understand the gene expression changes in skeletal muscle one year follow RYGB weight loss surgery. Vastus Lateralis samples were taken prior to and one year follow RYGB surgery. We sought to explore skeletal muscle gene expression profiles following surgical weightloss.

我们采用基因表达微阵列（gene expression microarray）技术，探究Roux-en-Y胃旁路术（RYGB）减重手术后一年随访时受试者骨骼肌的基因表达变化。我们分别于术前及RYGB减重手术后一年随访时采集股外侧肌（Vastus Lateralis）样本，以揭示手术减重后骨骼肌的基因表达谱特征。
