Climate Niche Breadth (CNB)

The dataset contains the raster layers (in .TIF format) and the R scripts used to generate the map of Climate Niche Breadth (CNB).

CNB was calculated using the R as follows: first we calculated the standard deviation (SD) for each bioclimatic variable of worldclim, subsequently we normalized all values between 0 and 1 and, finally, we summed all SD for each pixel. Higher values represent broad (climate) niches whereas lower values narrow niches.

本数据集包含用于生成气候生态位宽度（Climate Niche Breadth, CNB）地图的栅格图层（格式为.TIF）及配套R脚本。气候生态位宽度（CNB）的计算依托R语言完成：首先计算世界气候数据集（WorldClim）各生物气候变量的标准差（Standard Deviation, SD），随后将所有数值归一化至0至1区间，最后对每个像素的所有标准差求和。数值越高代表对应区域的气候生态位越宽泛，数值越低则气候生态位越狭窄。
