Ocean_Currents

This data package has been developed as part of the "Oceanographic Context" project, which is intended to provide essential context about recent and current oceanographic conditions relevant to interpretation and ongoing analysis of baseline ecological data collected in the North Coast Study Region. This data package contains information on ocean currents affecting the North Coast Study Region derived from observations made with high-frequency radar and inferred from observations of sea-level anomaly based on satellite altimetry coupled with coastal tide gauge measurements.

本数据集包依托“海洋学背景（Oceanographic Context）”项目开发，旨在为解读与持续分析北海岸研究区域（North Coast Study Region）所采集的基准生态数据，提供与近期及当前海洋学状况相关的核心背景信息。
本数据集包包含影响该研究区域的海流相关信息，该类信息主要来源于两部分：一是高频雷达（high-frequency radar）的实地观测数据；二是结合沿岸验潮站观测数据，基于卫星测高（satellite altimetry）得到的海平面异常（sea-level anomaly）观测结果反演得到的结果。
