To investigate the role of myonectin in muscle atrophy, myonectin-KO and wild type (C57BL/6J) mice were subjected to sciatic nerve denervation, leading to gastrocnemius muscle atrophy. Overall design: We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obained from RNA-seq of 8 gastrocnemius muscle tissues (Myonectin-KO 4, wild type 4).
