Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer in the Arctic (MODIS) / Aqua, 2013

MODIS is a 36-band spectroradiometer measuring visible and infrared radiation and obtaining data in Arctic. The first MODIS instrument was launched on board the Aqua satellite in May 2002. Derive products ranging from vegetation, land surface cover, and ocean chlorophyll fluorescence to cloud and aerosol properties, fire occurrence, snow cover on the land, and sea ice cover on the oceans.中分辨率成像光谱辐射计（Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer，简称MODIS）是一款36波段光谱辐射计，可探测可见光与红外辐射，并获取北极地区的观测数据。首台MODIS仪器于2002年5月搭载Aqua卫星发射升空。 其衍生产品涵盖植被、地表覆盖、海洋叶绿素荧光，以及云与气溶胶特性、火灾发生情况、陆地积雪覆盖及海洋海冰覆盖等诸多领域。
