This project is part of the One Health European Joint Project CARE (Cross-sectoral framework for quality Assurance Resources for countries in the European Union). The objective of CARE is to enhance collaboration between the public health, food and animal health sectors across the EU, in order to increase joint preparedness, in relation to bacterial zoonotic (especially foodborne) infections. One of the main topics of CARE is to provide a collection of reference materials (RM) of zoonotic pathogens from different sectors to be used e.g., for validation of methods and organisation of proficiency tests.

本项目隶属于欧盟同一健康（One Health）联合项目CARE，其全称为‘欧盟各国质量保障资源跨部门框架’（Cross-sectoral framework for quality Assurance Resources for countries in the European Union）。CARE的目标是加强欧盟范围内公共卫生、食品卫生与动物卫生领域的跨部门协作，以提升细菌性人畜共患传染病（尤其是食源性传染病）相关的联合备灾能力。CARE的核心议题之一，是构建覆盖多领域的人畜共患病病原体参考物质（reference materials, RM）集，可用于方法学验证与能力验证活动的组织等场景。
