Leishmania donovani strain:MHOM/IN/1983/AG83 Genome sequencing

To study the Human pathogen causing Kala-azar we have captured genomes in infective and un-infective phase. It is the same strain but when we keep on culturing the organism, it looses its ability to infect the host. It is also anticipated that it looses significant part of its genome in this process.

为研究引发黑热病（Kala-azar）的人类病原体，我们获取了该病原体处于感染期与非感染期的基因组。该病原体为同一株系，但在持续传代培养过程中，该菌株会丧失感染宿主的能力。同时我们推测，在此传代培养过程中，该菌株会丢失基因组中的大片段区域。
